Stand Up to the Slumlords!
Members of the Tenants Union gathered with community members and public officials to stand united with the tenants living at 6511 Rainier Avenue South on Thursday, October 1st. Several spoke out about the situation, including Council Members Kshama Sawant and Nick Lacata as well as Sahro Farah, a tenant of the building.
